GREEN FIZZ SMOOTHIE
Our Green Fizz smoothie is a tasty way to start your day or as a midday pick-me-up. It’s also an ideal beverage to help you recover after a workout. For those who are physically active, staying hydrated before, during and after exercise is key. You’ll need:
- 1 or 2 kiwis
- 1 banana
- 1 ginger root (1 to 3 cm)
- 2 large handfuls of spinach leaves
- 20cl almond milk
You can use cow’s milk, soy milk or any other plant-based milk you like instead of almond milk. Blend all the ingredients together and you’re done in just a few minutes.
Orange Fizz Smoothie
Want radiant skin? The Orange Fizz smoothie can help you get your fill of vitamin C and beta carotene. Here’s what you’ll need:
- 1 carrot
- 1 apple
- 1 plain yogurt
- juice of ½ a lemon
Peel and cut up the carrot and apple. Place them into a blender with the yogurt and lemon juice. Blend before serving. Sometimes, simple is better! Happy sipping!
PINK FIZZ SMOOTHIE
Athletes will love the Pink Fizz smoothie because it contains beet juice, which is high in nitrates. Most studies show that nitrates improve your athletic performance and boost your ability to withstand an intense workout. To make it, you’ll need:
3 cooked beets or 2 raw beets
- 2 pears
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 15cl cold water
Cut the beet into pieces and steam them for 15 to 20 minutes. Peel and remove the seeds from the pear, then cut it up. Place all the pieces into a blender. Pour in the lemon juice, brown sugar and cold water. Blend before enjoying this healthy smoothie. Your FizzUp progress score will never have been higher.
